48-Hour Ubisoft WonderJam

Across the Time is a two-player cooperative puzzle platformer where you shift between past and present to solve interconnected puzzles and with unic camera controll. Built in 48 hours during Ubisoft WonderJam Spring 2025 at UQAC Chicoutimi by a 5 team-members

My Design Roles

I was the Level Designer and Gameplay Programmer, crafting engaging puzzle maps with innovative mechanics and implementing movable environment features.

Challenges

Designing my first puzzle maps with custom movable elements; programming untested features such as hidden collectibles; and texturing graybox levels without time for post-process lighting passes.

Lessons Learned

I learned that puzzle games demand deep iterative thinking and that misaligned visions among collaborators require clear, continuous communication to preserve cohesive gameplay and art direction.
